Welcome to our exciting 3-week class, "Dressing for Weather: Fun Sentences and Seasonal Adventures!" This course is designed for young learners to explore the world of weather, clothing, and seasonal fun through engaging activities and practical language use. Each session includes:

3. Winter Fun and More: Learning 'Dd' Sounds
    * This lesson focuses on winter activities and the 'Dd' sound, helping students connect weather with fun activities.
    * Students will decode the story "What Can I Do Here?" and use a comparison chart to discuss different winter activities.

Activities include practicing vocabulary, using visual aids for comprehension, creating a clothing poster, and role-playing conversations about what to wear in different weather conditions. This lesson enhances vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills related to clothing and weather.

 In this lesson, students will decode the book "It Is Hot" and practice comparing and contrasting different cats and seasons. They will use sentence frames like "It is ___" and "My favorite season is ___" to discuss seasons and write about the cats featured in the story. The lesson emphasizes vocabulary development, focusing on spelling words and the structure of complete sentences, while foundational skills include learning the short "O" sound and reading the high-frequency word "that."
