In this two-week class, students will learn essential weather-related vocabulary, practice using language frames, and develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. The focus is on building a strong foundation in English through engaging, age-appropriate content.

⭐ Covered Topics:

1. Weather Vocabulary: Students will learn key words related to weather, such as hot, cold, warm, cool, windy, sunny, rainy, and snowy.
2. Language Frames: Phrases like “It is ___ in ___” and “I wear this ___ (hat/cap)” will be used to help students talk about weather conditions and appropriate clothing for different seasons.
3. Reading Comprehension: Students will read and analyze stories like “Snowman’s Dream” and “What I See Under the Tree,” making connections to enhance understanding.
4. Writing: Writing activities will focus on describing weather conditions, seasonal changes, and making comparisons between different times of the year.
5. Listening and Speaking: Discussions and video content, such as “Winter Is Coming,” will be used to practice key questions and improve conversational skills.

⭐ Class Structure:

1. Introduction and Discussion: Each class begins with a lead-in discussion to activate prior knowledge and introduce new concepts. For example, talking about how a snowman feels in winter sets the stage for learning about cold weather and winter clothing.

2. Reading Activities: Students will read stories related to the class theme. During these sessions, they will focus on understanding the plot, characters, and setting while making connections to the real world.

3. Vocabulary and Language Practice: New vocabulary words will be introduced, and students will practice using these words in sentences. Language frames will be provided to help students construct sentences and express themselves clearly.

4. Listening and Speaking: Each class will include a listening activity, such as watching a video, followed by a discussion. Students will practice asking and answering questions, improving their listening comprehension and speaking confidence.

5. Writing Tasks: At the end of each class, students will engage in a short writing activity to reinforce what they’ve learned. They will write about weather conditions, seasonal changes, or personal experiences related to the topic.

This class is designed to be fun, interactive, and educational, helping students build their English language skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Each lesson is carefully planned to ensure that students not only learn but also enjoy the process of discovery and exploration.
