In this class, students will learn the difference between living and nonliving things through engaging stories, discussions, and hands-on activities. The focus will be on developing skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary building, descriptive writing, and critical thinking.

 In this lesson, students will explore the differences between living and nonliving things while reading the story The Crops. They will enhance their vocabulary by learning science terms related to living things and improve their decoding and comprehension skills. Students will practice spelling blends (br, cr, dr) and high-frequency words. Writing activities will focus on describing living things, while discussions will encourage speaking skills using sentence frames to describe characteristics.

ESL | EFL | Beginner |Living or Not? Unlocking Vocabulary with 'Are You Living?'
 In this lesson, students will analyze the song Are You Living? to identify the characteristics of living things. They will expand their vocabulary with words related to living and nonliving things and practice reading high-frequency words. Writing activities will involve describing personal experiences of being alive, while discussions will focus on comparing living and nonliving things. This lesson develops foundational reading skills, vocabulary, and comprehension of key science concepts.
