Class Experience

Oh, no! Ben the Bunny was all set to fill in as the Easter bunny this year. That is, until the silly chicks got into his basket and scattered the eggs he was going to hide!

In this high-energy, egg-citing escape room style class, learners will work together to spot hidden eggs on each slide. Each egg leads to a different math or ELA question, which learners will solve to advance to the next slide. Each question they answer correctly allows them to collect another egg and get closer to filling Ben's basket! Please note that this is a casual, team-based class, so it is okay if your learner needs some help with the questions or concepts - we are going to have fun while practicing or reviewing skills.

Questions will be either math or ELA based, but mastery is not required. I will both lead students through answering the questions as needed, and facilitate the escape room play. Students will be able to work together to come up with an answer to each question, truly working as a team to save the Easter egg hunt!

Sample questions:
How many tens are in this number?
What is the answer to this addition or subtraction problem?
How many syllables are in this word?
What is the middle vowel sound in this word?
Name a word that rhymes with...

Learning Goals
