Class Experience

Welcome to Mrs. D's Art Room where it is always a good day when you are learning something new. In this class we are going to make art with a fun and furry artist bunny wearing a beret.

In this one time class, I am going to focus on not only drawing the bunny with step-by-step instructions but introducing perspective drawing by drawing eggs larger to smaller in the background. I will use dual screen to show the steps and draw with students. I will ask learners to show their artwork during the steps to see if they get what I am teaching. We will use color pencils (PrismaColor preferred) to color the bunny and his fur. At the end, if time permits we will play one interactive guessing game about all the bunny characters in the Disney movies and cartoons!

Young Artists will learn:
1. how to draw a bunny
2. how to draw and color fur
3. a fun way to color the eggs
4. shading techniques (advanced students)

They can talk all about Easter, ask questions, and be creative with their drawing. I can't wait to see your child in my class!

Students will be encouraged to socialize and share their artwork although it is not required. Students will also be encouraged to make their artwork unique and to complete their art on their own if they are not finished in class. I pace our class based on the students abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how everyone is doing.

No experience is needed for this class; learners will follow directions.

If you enjoy this class, please don't forget to check out my other one time classes:
Rainbow Pop It Teddy Bear (Specially designed to improve hand and eye coordination and concentration)
Mirabel From Encanto -Dot Mandala Painting Technique/ Hang as a Frame!

Hope to see you soon!

Hello and Welcome Outschoolars! I’m Mrs.D. ! I appreciate you considering me to be a part of your young artist's art journey!

I teach various art classes that involve color theories, color wheels, and color schemes that work together to create human figures, landscaping, and canvas painting with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. I love to teach different styles and techniques of art using Art Theory.

I am an artist by profession. I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. I have participated in many art exhibitions in my public art center and library and taught art, crafts, and card making in elementary schools and Girl Scouts as a volunteer. I love to share art with my community.

I have been teaching 1:1 art classes online and in person for the last 5 years to ages 4 to 14 years. I have instructed children online all around the world, and continue to teach local classes and workshops in my community. I am so happy to continue what I am doing on a bigger and better platform from the comfort of my home.

I like to teach Art Theory in most of my projects so kids will learn multiple things without even realizing it. I believe all students can learn, and art is the best way to express yourself and your feelings in your unique way.

Art helps to improve hand and eye coordination. It also helps to grow your concentration and patience. Sometimes young minds can't express themselves through talking, but through drawing. I love connecting with students through art and helping them grow, laugh, and have some fun!

Class Expectation: Everyone works at different speeds. If the child is not finished with the piece by the end of class, they can finish the remaining picture at home and post it in the classroom.

Join me on this incredible adventure to take your child’s passion to the next level.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I’m looking forward to being a part of your child's art journey, growth, and success; can’t wait to see you in class!
