Drawing With Snoopy

In this one-time class, students will learn to draw their favorite beagle, Snoopy! This is a one-off variation of one of my on-going classes: Learn To Draw Your Favorite Peanuts Characters, and will focus primarily on a scene with Snoopy as the subject. Students can rest assured that they need not have a lot of previous drawing experience. You will be able to easily follow along as I will guide them with step-by-step instructions throughout the class. This is a beginner class that teaches students how to draw Snoopy by learning how to break him down into his simplest shapes that they can then use to create their own, original drawings.

We will begin by going over the materials used in the class. We will then practice drawing fundamental shapes with a short warm-up session where I demonstrate drawing techniques they can use to build their character layer by layer.

Throughout the class, I will pause to ensure everyone follows along adequately and engage students by checking on their progress with positive feedback.

We will conclude the class by allowing students to show off their drawings to the rest of the class if they so choose. Students will walk away with the knowledge and skills they learned to create more original drawings.
