Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will learn to draw their favorite beagle, Snoopy! This is a one-off variation of one of my on-going classes: Learn To Draw Your Favorite Peanuts Characters, and will focus primarily on a scene with Snoopy as the subject. Students can rest assured that they need not have a lot of previous drawing experience. You will be able to easily follow along as I will guide them with step-by-step instructions throughout the class. This is a beginner class that teaches...
Students will learn how to see and break down characters into their fundamental shapes that they can use to reconstruct existing and original characters, including themselves!
I have a bachelor's degree in graphic design and I own a photography business specializing in portraits and events. I am also an avid fine artist focusing on character design and illustration and have by practicing for over 30 years. I have taught learners in a variety of artistic programs ranging in ages of 6 - 12 years.
No homework is required prior to the class, but they are encouraged to practice what they learn on their own to become proficient. Practice makes perfect!
Required Materials: Several pieces of 8 ½ x 11 (or A4 size) paper #2 pencil Eraser (if not included as part of pencil) Coloring materials like crayons, markers or colored pencils For Advanced Students: Feel free to bring your favorite sketchbook, drawing pencils, art erasers and favorite coloring medium.
