Edit Your Own Videos Using a Phone or Tablet! (One-Time Introductory Course)

This one-time class is a beginner's course for anyone interested in video editing. This specific class is for learners wanting to edit on a phone or tablet. We will be using the app called "Filmora Go". You can download this program for free through the Apple or Google play store. This is the only requirement for the class. Families are welcome to upgrade their app to the paid version called "Pro", for a one-time expense, in order to have more access to tools and special effects, but it is NOT NECESSARY in order to attend this class. 

Here are the 3 fun effects that we will do together:
1. Learn how to trim your video
2. Use a filter or border
3. Add a fun sound effect

During class I will be sharing my phone screen, using the screen sharing feature on Zoom, so I can demonstrate how to use Filmora Go. After class, Learners will have access to the class recording and will be able to watch the demonstrations as many times and they want to or need to!

If your learner has the app up and ready, they should be able to complete these 3 tasks mentioned above and then export it to their device to save it as an mp4 file. 

If your learner does not come to class with Filmora Go ready to use, they are still welcome to watch the demonstration during class, interact with other students, and ask me any questions to help them understand the process. After class, once they are prepared to use the program, they are welcome to use the information they learned during class, and practice when ready.
