Class Experience
This private class can be geared towards a class I already have available or it can be catered to each individual learner's needs. How this class works: Send me a message or class request expressing your interest in this class. We will then agree on a date and time that works for both of our schedules. In order to best assist your learner, I will need to know in advance the content needed to be covered so I can ensure I am prepared and ready to help your learner. Content and pace of each class will be catered to each individual student. Here are the 3 different areas of tutoring that would be available: YOUTUBE: creating a channel (resource provided) safety concerns personalizing your channel content ideas creating thumbnails uploading videos video editing recording strategies equipment etc VIDEO GAME RECORDING: using OBS to connect multiple sources record PC games record off a game system (resources provided) capture cards (resources provided) troubleshooting due to a glitchy or laggy video (resources provided) webcam use (show your face on your game) green screen etc VIDEO EDITING WITH WONDERSHARE FILMORA: intro to editing & Wondershare Filmora (computer version) uploading videos cutting out clips adding images, filters, sound effects, etc royalty free music, sound effects, and image options If you don't see a topic that you are interested in, send me a message to see if it might be something I would be willing to create a class about. Parental Guidance
If your learner is interested in having a YouTube Channel, please know that YouTube is intended for age 13 and older, however, students younger than 13 are able to create a YouTube channel under the supervision and account of a parent.
Possible resources that might be presented depending on the content:
Youtube: no account or channel needed for any classes. Some small clips might be used during class to give YouTube channel or video editing examples. All clips during class will be child-friendly and no YouTube links will ever be shared with learners in the zoom chat or any other way except through the Outschool platform-approved links.
Wondershare Filmora: video editing program. Download free version by creating an account with email & password
Open Broadcaster Software: recording software for gaming. Create a free account with email and password. Only available on a device that has a Windows, Mac, or Linux operating system. (Not available on devices requiring an app download).
Canva: Create a free account. This graphic design website is good for creating YouTube thumbnails, YouTube banners, logos, etc.
Pixabay: no account needed. This program has royalty free images and is recommended for use in creating thumbnails, adding images in videos through a video editing program, etc.
