Draw Your Own Anime Character: Digital and Pencil Techniques!

The world of anime is full of memorable characters that inspire the imagination of many. In this class, we will explore characters from different anime series such as MHA and DemonslayerIn each class. Some experience in drawing objects or the body will be required, however, I will guide them through various complex areas. Students will explore different drawing techniques from creating form through shading to exploring texture and proportions. As this course is not only an in-depth study of the human body, students will be allowed to use their imaginations as well. I will also be bringing references for specific parts of the body, for example, spiky hair, anime eyes, animal features, etc.  Students will be able to customize their own characters as well- using their imagination and creativity is a big part of recreating these characters. During class, we will also discuss a few interesting facts about each anime character before getting started. Students will be allowed to give positive criticisms about each other's work.
