1 on 1 Tutoring : Reading Strategies, Grammar, Spelling and Writing!

Welcome to reading, writing, and spelling class! I am excited to be your guide! In this class, students will work one-on-one with the teacher to improve on a variety of different skills such as grammar, fluency, spelling, vocabulary, reading, and comprehension. I will identify the necessary skills to be worked on during class. 

Each week students will be given a writing prompt to work on, and as they are writing, they will be given feedback on spelling, and punctuation. In addition, we will do mini-writing activities. I will also include some reading in some of the classes to bolster their vocabulary! Learners will have the chance to converse with the teacher and share their ideas as well. This ultimately leads to much better writing as learners can think out their ideas. I look forward to having your learners! 

PLEASE NOTE:

1. I do require meetings to be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours before the actual class. This ensures that we have adequate time to identify and establish the needs of the learner before class. 
2. For the class to be successful please ensure that your learner has adequate writing tools, or can use any of the interactive links available in class.
3. I do my best to provide weekly feedback within 48 hours unless there are extenuating situations.
