Critical Thinking in Math and Reading is designed to help learners improve thinking skills. Learners will identify similarities and differences, sequences, grouping and analogies. These skills will help learners in Math and Reading.

Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 1
Intermediate Level
The purpose of these sessions is to spark students’ critical thinking skills.  The areas of critical thinking are communication, analyzing, problem solving, open-mindedness, and creativity.   The session will include Math reasoning analogies, reading riddles, Mind Benders as well as activities that will build thinking skills.  Students will have the opportunity to use  critical thinking through engagement, exploration, explaining and extending ideas.  They will also learn to evaluate and resolve problems.  We will have student interaction through games, drawing and discussion.  These activities will transfer into Mathematic and Language Arts.
