Class Experience

Are you funny? Do you want to learn about comedy? Then this class is for you! I am a Chicago-based comedy performer and I am so excited to teach your child the art of comedy. In this drop-in comedy club, we will learn comedy games, theatre, storytelling, comedy singing, and more. Each week we will learn new games. The goal is to practice our comedy chops. Each activity will be broken down. Students will be provided a handout of the games and activities that we will play prior to class. My teaching approach is laid back and student-centered. I will work with your student on the skills they need to be a successful virtual improviser. This is a hands-on performance class. Students do not need any other prior experience, just a desire to learn.

Introduction to Theatre Games- Movement, Focus, Creativity
Introduction to Short-Scenes
Mime and Gibberish Scenes
Funny Stories
Pantomime
Creativity and Imagination
