Improv 101 Meet Up
Class experience
In this ongoing class, students will explore the world of improvisation. Improv boosts confidence, gains respect among fellow peers and instills social skills. First, we will introduce ourselves with a fun game. Next, we will do a series of warm ups and tongue twisters. We may even get up to get the blood flowing. Throughout class, we will be playing a series of games such as "Freeze", "Categories", "Story time", and so much more. Some classes we may even break out into groups to perform...

I minored in theatre in college and majored in communications. I have been acting on stage since I was 4 years old and have been in several movies and tv shows. During college, I taught multiple theatre camps and workshops to local elementary, middle and high schools. I always say my love of acting came from my dad always filming everything I did including making my sister make up stories and movies with me.
Once in while we may include costumes or props but they will be basic items and aren’t required. I’ll post ahead a time in the classroom if we will be using any for the next class.
