US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this ongoing class, students will be introduced to basic English vocabulary. In this class, students are Level 1/Beginner or Level A on the CEFR scale. The teacher will demonstrate the vocabulary. The students will practice with the teacher as well as on their own. Students should know the basic vocabulary in their native language as well as how to write letters and words in native their language. Students who have these skills could do well in this course. Let's have fun learning basic English Vocabulary. Things to be covered: Family- mom, dad, sister, brother The Practice of family- mom, dad, sister, brother House- things around the house The practice of house-things around the house Neighborhood/neighbors The practice of neighborhood/neighbors City/town The practice of City/town

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
