Italian Language for Children

Students will be immersed in the Italian language and culture while learning basic Italian phrases for fun and enjoyment.
Week of September 5-12: Making introductions, getting to know one another, learning the alphabet, and having fun. 
Week of September 19-26: We will learn how to say/identify different animals in Italian, the numbers from 1 to 10.
Week of October 3-9: We will learn about body parts.
Week of October 10-16: Le parole Gentili (words of courtesy) how to ask for things, review, and have fun!
Week of October 17-23: We will learn the colors and use them in simple sentences.
Week of October 24-31: How do you feel today? We will draw and learn the words to describe emotions.
Week of November 1-7: Making introductions, getting to know one another, learning the alphabet, and having fun.

Week of January 15-21: How do you feel today? We will draw and learn the words to describe emotions.
Week of January 22-28: Se/if... Causa ed Effetto/Cause and Effect.
Week of January 29-4 February: In Bagno- in the bathroom.  We will draw and learn the words to describe bathroom items.
Week of February 5-11:  Animali, animali, animali! Animals, Animals, animals! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
Week of February 12-18 :  Le calzature. What do I put on my feet? The different types of footwear.
Week of February 19-25: Una torta a colori! A cake in colors!
Week of February 26-4 March: Verdura, verdura, mi piace la verdura! Vegetables, vegetables, I like vegetables!
