Class Experience

In our Teen Confidence & Affirmations class, students will learn practical strategies to build self-esteem, manage negative thoughts, and cultivate a positive mindset. Topics covered include self-awareness, positive affirmations, stress management, goal setting, and effective communication. The class is structured with a mix of interactive activities, guided discussions, and reflection exercises to keep teens engaged. My teaching style is supportive, hands-on, and empowering, ensuring a safe space for teens to grow and gain confidence.

To begin our class, we'll begin by chatting, getting to know one another, and catching up for the week. 

Week 1: Introduction to Confidence & Self-Worth

Week 4: Self-Awareness & Emotional Intelligence

Understanding emotions and triggers
Techniques for self-reflection and self-awareness
Journaling exercises for emotional growth

Week 5: Stress Management & Mindfulness

Identifying stressors and coping mechanisms
Introduction to mindfulness practices
Using affirmations to manage stress

Week 6: Goal Setting & Motivation

Setting SMART goals and staying motivated
Affirmations for goal achievement and persistence
Visualizing success through affirmations

Week 7: Effective Communication & Assertiveness

Building confidence in communication
Role-playing assertiveness in real-life situations
Using affirmations to boost social confidence

Week 8: Celebrating Growth & Future Focus

Reflecting on progress and growth
Affirmations for continued success and self-love
Setting intentions for the future and next steps

If the class enrollment minimum is not met, session will be canceled and a refund will be given to those who enrolled.

Learning Goals

I have extensive experience in teaching personal development and confidence-building techniques to teens.  Over the past five years, I have worked with teens in both group and one-on-one settings, facilitating workshops and coaching sessions focused on building self-esteem, managing stress, and fostering a positive mindset.

 My teaching style is compassionate, engaging, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout the learning process.
