Based on what parent requests. This class will follow the structure of my other speech classes, but since it is tutoring, it will be custom designed based on the needs of the learner. I will communicate with parents beforehand to be sure I understand what is requested. We include such things as: tongue twisters; mouth, face, body and mind exercises, debates, informative speeches, storytelling in both fiction and nonfiction genres, and learning about the learners interests in the area of speeches and storytelling. There is always a certain type of sharing that each learner prefers. We work with any obstacles to determine how best to support each learner so that his or her sharing creates momentum, confidence, and enjoyment.
