US Grade 5 - 8
Students will read and study addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in this course. There will be word problems that include real-life statistics from the NBA and NCAA. This gives students the opportunity to practice various operations, while also learning about some stats. Prior knowledge of the four math operations is expected with each learner. Also, it is recommended to have a pen, pencil and calculator in this class. This is an interactive class that includes video, audio, and pictures. Students (and parents) that are basketball fans will get to see actual highlights as well!
Learning Goals
Students will be taught about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This is to help students between the ages of 8 and 13 with their knowledge and understanding of math, on a basic level.

I have an MS in Instructional Design and Technology, with 10+ years experience. I have written and published three technical books on Amazon. In November 2018, I received my TEFL certification. My goal has been to not only develop courseware but to also experience teaching. I believe teaching is the core of effective instructional design. My work has included diverse instructional projects helping different learners acquire needed skills and knowledge.
In my spare time, I watch and analyze basketball, partake in social matters and advocacy, exercise, write books and articles, do landscape paintings, and work on interior and exterior housework.
