Class Experience

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is one of the annual Thanksgiving programs that airs on television, and one of the several holiday-related Charlie Brown specials. It has been on network TV for decades, reaching many different generations of fans. This cartoon can also be a useful tool for helping young learners with grammar, namely with learning nouns and verbs. Whether it is Snoopy duking it out with the lawn chair, or the Peanuts gang gathering for the rather unique Thanksgiving menu, there are several examples of nouns and verbs in the program. This class, which is a follow-up to the Great Pumpkin class, will help students to further learn and understand various types of these two parts of speech, and also have some holiday fun while doing it!
