In this ten week course students will be exposed to a new artist each week and create a work of art inspired by them! This is the live version of the flex class!

This class is geared towards the learner who enjoys art and want to learn about the famous artists who paved the way. This course combines art making with a twist of history! Over the course of ten weeks, students will learn about the following artists: 1.) Degas 2.) Marc Chagall 3.) Franz Marc 4.) Romero Britto 5.)Henri Rousseau 6.)Mary Cassatt 7.)Gustav Klimt 8.). Wassily Kandinsky 9.) Jackson Pollock 10.) Frida Kahlo The class starts with a brief slideshow viewing facts about the artist, then we take a look at a specific work of art and discuss what we see as a class. From there the teacher gives a demonstration on the project one step at a time and then releases the students to complete the project. The teacher will give constructive feedback at the end of each class. The more interaction the better! I am flexible and try to meet the needs of each learner. I am always available to answer questions and check in often to ensure the student understands the goal. I am a student centered teacher who believes in giving the skills needed to meet the objective at hand while allowing creative freedom. I look forward to having your learner join me in a this art class! Let’s explore some of the most amazing artists together! This class does not include any of the artists that I have created one time classes for! The goal is to set up a consistent time/day to meet and introduce a new artist.
