Beginner Level
Learn American Sign Language as you learn about different types of weather and how it affects us. ASL increases retention of knowledge since it is visual and kinesthetic learning. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Experience ASL vocabulary through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. I love sparking students' love of science and ASL! Learning Needs
ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating sign language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students for over the past 10 years since 2014. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class. Reviews
