Beginner Level
This self-paced class includes 4 American Sign Language classes based on familiar nursery rhymes. Learn ASL vocabulary related to each nursery rhyme, and then sign them. Some classes include hands-on props for visual appeal. I'll show and explain hand signs and repeat for greater retention. Class length varies from 13-27 mins. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Since this is a self-paced class, you can do classes at your own speed. Come sign with me!

Join me in the kitchen as we learn American Sign Language vocabulary for making scrambled eggs. Learn to sign the nursery rhyme song, "Humpty Dumpty". 18 mins of video lessons

Learning Needs
ASL helps students by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating sign language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners, especially with ADHD and autism.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga.
