ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating American Sign Language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

You are more than welcome to follow along by reading the book series with us, but this is certainly not necessary. Books include: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Take a Mouse to School, If You Take a Mouse to the Movies, If You Give a Pig a Party, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, and If You Give a Dog a Donut.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over 10 years since 2014. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. I've taught ASL in my Kids Yoga in addition to Baby Toddler Me Yoga and Baby Connections classes. I also teach a weekly live online Little Signers class. Reviews
