Class Experience

Yoga is so good for the body! It creates calm, strength and focus. It helps developing muscles grow appropriately and increases body awareness in the young minds. I am a certified early ed and special educator. I have so much experience and know your child will love this class!

The class schedule is as follows:
Spring greetings
😺What is Spring?
😺Sharing time
😺Surprise Spring Themed Yoga poses
😺Spring story and Yoga poses
😺Dance our way out!

A more detailed description is here:
The class will start with introductions. We will do fun spring movement greetings to our new friends. After this, we will talk about Spring and share about the season to practice our social skills and talk with our friends. Then, it is time for yoga! We will engage in surprise spring themed yoga poses. Students will take turns creating their own yoga poses and playing a copycat game. This really ensures students get that social peice through interaction and the body. We will read the story There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Cow by Lucille Colandro and learn yoga poses for each page. This story is accompanied with visuals and puppets to ensure engagement and understanding. We will then sing a spring goodbye song and dance our way out. Happy Spring everyone!
