What will be taught? The legacy of ancient Rome, including its government, architecture, engineering, religion, and how its innovations shaped modern life. What topics will you cover? Key Roman contributions such as the republic, Twelve Tables, tripartite government, civic duty, Roman roads, aqueducts, arches, concrete, city planning, and the spread of Christianity. How is your class structured? The class includes an engaging introduction, guided notes, interactive activities, a creative assignment, and a summative assessment to deepen understanding and apply knowledge. How will you teach? Through humorous, relatable storytelling, guided discussions, hands-on activities, and creative projects designed to connect historical ideas to today’s world. What's your teaching style? Interactive, fun, and focused on helping students connect with the material through humor, real-life examples, and student-centered activities. How much will learners get to interact with you? Students will interact through live discussions, guided questions, collaborative activities, video-based instruction, and personalized feedback on their assignments and projects.
