American History: Framers of the U.S. Constitution
Class experience
The men who crafted the constitution of the United States are as interesting and diverse as the nation that they created. Throughout history there have always been brave, bold and talented people who build nations and lead people from all walks of life and various backgrounds. This course will cover the men who created a new nation and put their vision of freedom into practice. They did not always agree but each made their voices heard and made their mark on the nation that they all desired...
Students will be introduced to a few of the men that can be credited with building America. Details noting descriptions of their lives will enlighten and inform students about our early history of the U.S. Understanding the beliefs and principles held by noted framer in this course will provide a good foundation as to the early history of the United States.
I have taught Humanities 101, 102 and 103 at the college level. The time periods and artworks outlined in my courses taught me so much about the U.S. and its amazing history.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will show history as it really was. The new nation of the United States was not without it's flaws, slavery is an issue addressed in this course but always with the idea of understanding more about how history really unfolded.
In this class I hope to use various sources textbooks and art history books are among some of the sources that inspire me and I like to use a wide range of sources. Any Artworks are public domain but History Textbooks and Art History will be the material that I use for this course.
