Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6
Throughout our course, we will explore topics such as 'What is a fraction?' including the numerator and denominator, and 'What is an equivalent fraction?' We'll learn how to represent fractions on a number line and determine equivalent fractions through multiplication and division. We'll also cover writing fractions in their simplest form, defining mixed numbers and improper fractions, and demonstrating how to convert a mixed number into an improper fraction. Additionally, we'll tackle adding and subtracting fractions with both like and unlike denominators, and the student will learn to find a common denominator. The course will also include multiplying fractions and mixed numbers, as well as dividing fractions.

Weekly Schedule
A 20-minute pre-recorded lesson will be uploaded, which includes PowerPoint slides, along with a printable worksheet or worksheets depending on the topic. I will be on hand to respond to inquiries throughout the week, consistently.
