In this One Time Class students will learn the name and sound of each letter of the Alphabet in Spanish, then be able to read short words in Spanish. The students will also learn new vocabulary for each letter of the alphabet.
Class experience
This is a beginning Spanish class, so there is no need to have any prior knowledge of Spanish prior to taking this course. This class will be taught on the Zoom platform. I will use Flash Cards, Finger Puppets, Power Point Presentation and attach an optional 2 page Word document Worksheet for this class to follow along. Students will learn the Spanish Alphabet and at the end be able to blend vowel and consonant sounds, to make and pronounce short words.
I am a native Spanish speaker with fluency in English. One of my first occupations in my home country of Guatemala was to teach English as a foreign language to native Spanish speaking children. Conversely, I have also educated my 14 year old son in Spanish since he was a toddler.
