Students will learn about the human body systems and how they work.
I have been an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I have a Florida Teaching Certificate and am qualified to teach science topics for the PreK-6 age. I have studied the topics and how to make them age appropriate for learners. I also have a certification in International Baccalaureate (IB) program. It is a worldwide, nonprofit education program founded to give all students the opportunity to receive an education fit for a globalizing world. I have been trained to present material by asking questions and helping students learn from their questions.
Some lessons need supplies for the experiments. They are posted a week before class. If you join and do not see the materials send me a message!
***I am not a doctor. I am using the types of doctors to explain the basics of different body systems and important body parts in an engaging and fun way. ***This class will not have any actual medical training. The content will be focused on the human body systems by simply just using the doctor name as a fun way to engage the student. ***Students will be shown diagrams inside the human body. I will always choose safe drawings or images for young learners. I will not be using graphic images that contain bloody or unsafe content.
