Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
In this FLEX course students will learn all about different kinds of doctors. This course uses pre-recorded lessons, experiments, and interactive lessons. There are NO LIVE CLASSES.

This class is a fun way for students to get introduced to the different body systems and learn interesting ways the human body works. Each week, students will learn about a different type of doctor and the human body system. Students will complete a simple experiment to further understand the human body system we are learning. I will send and instruction video and the supply list out in the classroom. We will then use our new knowledge about the human body to play games. Some of the types of games we will play are: Matching body parts, What's the missing body part?, Human body Puzzle, I have Who has? and more educational games. Students will love using their questioning and problem solving skills to learn about the human body. Students will have a fun worksheet to complete at the end of the week.

***I am not a doctor. I am using the types of doctors to explain the basics of different body systems and important body parts in an engaging and fun way.
***This class will not have any actual medical training. The content will be focused on the human body system by simply just using the doctor name as a fun way to engage the student.
***Students will be shown diagrams inside the human body. I will always choose safe drawings or images for young learners. I will not be using graphic images that contain blood or unsafe content.
