In this multi day course, core topics in Algebra 1 will be covered. Each week, one to two unique topics will be introduced, and students will be given a chance to apply the knowledge gained by practicing them. This is a lecture style class where I will be lecturing for the first part. Students are encouraged to ask questions at any point in class. This is an interactive class where student input is vital. Students will be able to understand concepts explored in Algebra 1, such as systems of equations, functions, polynomials and exponents.
homework will be assigned on the topics covered in class and answer key will be uploaded a day after class.
Relevant power point slides and pdf documents will be uploaded before class which the students will have access to.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
