In depth Algebra 1 course that meets once per week

This class is designed to cover all important topics in Algebra 1 and to deepen knowledge and understanding in the subject. I introduce the topic with notes, example questions, and involve students a lot to make sure they are following along. Students are guided through the problems and they are encouraged to ask questions. Each week is focused on a certain topic from Algebra 1 and students can also bring their questions from that topic to discuss in the class. I use a digital whiteboard to...
The goal is to achieve in depth knowledge of Algebra one and set students for success for Geometry and Algebra 2.
I have 15 years of classroom experience and have taught pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig, and Calculus. Teaching math and making it fun for my learners is my passion.
Homework Offered
A weekly homework worksheet will also be provided for skill practice.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learner's progress is assessed with regular check ins and question-answer sessions during class.Grades Offered
Pen and paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
