This ongoing course will cover important topics in Algebra 1. It will be most useful for students currently enrolled or about to enroll in Algebra 2 that would like the opportunity to review topics from Algebra 2, to aid in their success in Algebra I. As these topics will be review for the student enrolled, students may join at any time. The course will begin with topic one listed below, and each next topic on the list will be the topic of the next consecutive class. For example, if your student joins us in the week of September thirtieth, the student can expect to review linear equations on their first day. After we reach week eighteen of the class and cover irrational numbers, we will begin the list of topics again and review all topics over. Students are welcome to remain enrolled to review these important topics again, as well as to catch the topics they may have missed the first time around. February 11: Foundations February 18: Solving Equations & Inequalities March 4: Unit Conversion March 11: Linear Equations March 18: Graphing March 25: Systems of Equations April 1: Inequalities April 8: Functions April 15: Sequences April 22: Absolute Value & Piecewise Functions April 29: Exponents & Radicals May 6: Exponential Growth & Decay May 13: Multiplying Polynomials May 20: Factoring Polynomials, Day 1 May 27: Factoring Polynomials, Day 2 June 3: Quadratic Functions & Equations June 10: Quadratic Functions & Equations, Day 2 June 17: Quadratic Formula June 24: Irrational Numbers
