SALE: Use code DONEDUDS8D5 at checkout for $5 off of one class session from September 4th- October 4th, 2022. In this class students will have the opportunity to solidify their 3rd grade multiplication and division skills while taking their skills to the next level by beginning to practice multiplication and division that they will encounter in the 4th grade. This class is perfect for any students currently in 3rd grade looking for a challenge, 3rd grade students who are wanting to feel more prepared for the next school year, or students in 4th grade who are wanting some more foundational support. Each class is structured using the gradual release model that I use with my students in the public school setting. This model provides students with high support at the beginning of the lesson when a new skill is being introduced and guides students into completing tasks with more independence towards the end of each lesson. In my classes I also build in lots of opportunities for students to share their thinking and interact with their classmates if they wish to do so. I understand that some students prefer to participate in a more quiet way, so students can participate vocally as much or as little as they are comfortable with. After each class, students will be provided with an extra practice worksheet that is optional to complete. Each week we will be practicing a different multiplication or division strategy, so students can join and leave this ongoing class at any time within the schedule. Following is an outline of the lessons that will be taught in this class: 1. Week of May 1, 2023: Multiplication by 10's, 100's, and 1000's 2.
