I have over 11 years in the standard classroom setting (K-12) and over 2 years ESL online teaching. I have been honored to be a special education director, dean of students and work as a trainer of other district staff at the state department level.

Areas of specialty: Special education [Autism-Asperger (social & communication), ADHD, and SLD], Art - (fine art classes, studio art & art therapy), Fashion design (sewing technique & couture training). I will be offering a range of classes in these areas for K-12 and updating often so be sure to check back for new courses.

You can learn more about me please see the teacher bio below.Thank you for taking this course.
Homework prior to the class beginning will be to have all the requested supplies ready and next to the student at the start of class. In ADHD 101 we will learn organization and the importance of preparation. This is a skill that carried through all series courses.

Following the class there is not direct homework assigned, although it is recommended that the learners continue to use the new skills learned in each section as implementation is key to learning any new skill.
Supplies for the Series. Setting ourselves up for success – supplies you will need throughout these courses: Journal (can be a bound journal or notebook) ( this ideally is the journal used in ADHD 101 on organization) Sticky Notes / Post-it notes (multiple colors) Highlighters (multiple colors) Index card
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
