ADHD and ME -Semester Course- Part 1– (Teens -curriculum for ages 13-18)

This is a mini-semester course that runs for 6 weeks. It is built using my ADHD and ME series curriculum for 101-601– that is offered as a one-time course series. If you have taken the individual lessons for ADHD and Me 101 to 601, this is the same curriculum, you can find new sections for Executive Functioning Minds within my offered courses, I have multiple options for teens including new courses on introspection to help your learning gain confidence and deeper self-understanding (https://outschool.com/teachers/Danell-Lynn )

In large settings students with ADHD can feel overwhelmed, frustrated and anxious…clouding thoughts and emotions. In this course series you will understand how to find and use the dynamics of your ADHD mind, harness your superpower, ignite new thought patterns and grasps on to your uniqueness through interactive activity models that will focus on streamlining executive function skills. We will work together on a process to find which skills are your strengths and how we can decrease anxiety and increase logical thinking.

My ADHD and Me Semester Course – we will meet once a week for 6 weeks, one mini-semester. This course is an intensive learning course; they will gain new executive function skills and will be expected to practice and review to create habits of success. A journal / notebook is used in each class for the activities.

We will focus on breaking down executive function for understanding and implementation. We incorporate activities into each lesson that encourage healthy ways for brain brakes.
