Join me for a new adventure every week as we use our imaginations to dive under the sea to learn about sea creatures, climb volcanoes to study geology, blast into space to visit the moon, go on a safari to discover the animals in Africa, and more! Each weekly topic will incorporate learning a letter of the alphabet. We will cover letter recognition, phonics, and writing the letter. These classes are designed to engage preschool and kindergarten learners and include songs, movement, interactive slides, and imaginative play. Each learner will have multiple opportunities to participate at their comfort level. Worksheets will be posted in the classroom 24 hours prior to class. For the best class experience, print the worksheets and bring them to class. However, you can also just bring plain paper and a pencil. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Miss Jen and I currently live in Indianapolis, IN, USA with my husband and 3 children. I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications. I have been an online ESL teacher for 3 years, I am a substitute teacher for my local school district, and I taught my first Outschool class in January 2021. Kids are most engaged in learning when they love what they are learning about. I am excited to teach kids about subjects interesting to them, while incorporating important age appropriate core curriculum. I enjoy using games, songs, and play to capture and hold student's attention. My classes give each student an opportunity to participate at their comfort level. I encourage each student to engage with the teacher and other students in the class as we learn, play, imagine, and HAVE FUN!
I am excited to meet your child and spark their curiosity for learning!
See you soon!
-Miss Jen
