In this ongoing class, student will learn about comprehension strategies. For example, student will learn about inferences, following directions, locating the main idea, using context clues, drawing conclusions, sequencing and understanding word meanings and word elements. Class structure: Each Lesson will consist of a short intro video, direct instruction, guided practice and independent practice. Students will be able to participate and annotate on the screen to answer questions when working independently. My teaching style is based on getting to know my students first. It is important to work from student strengths and differentiate lessons towards student needs.
