Description

Class Experience

This course is an introduction to piano lessons. Over the course of the 4 week period the students will learn and build upon their skills at their own pace.  The students will learn finger numbers, how notes move, basic theory - quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, etc. - as well as how to play several songs!   
Students need to have a clear understanding of which hand is right and which is left before taking this class. 
I ask my students to commit to practicing the songs given at least 3...

Students will learn basic piano skills and build upon them. At the end of this course students will be able to play several songs!

Students must commit to practice each song 3 times per day.

  6 files available upon enrollmentStudents MUST have a piano or keyboard and must be sitting at it for this class. I will need to be able to occasionally see their hands on the keyboard while they are playing as well. 
Students also MUST print the pages that will be linked on the classroom page before class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
