In this course, your student will begin their journey to playing the piano! We will use the Faber Adventure Series. I will reach out to you to determine which level to start at. These lessons will be very catered to your child and we will progress at their speed.

I am very kind and relaxed and will make it a calm and fun environment for your student to develop their piano skills. 

I am able to offer this class every other week. It is not listed as an ongoing class due to the fact that it is not weekly, but I welcome your student to sign up for the same time every other week.

Students do not need any background knowledge for this class. Due to copyright, they will need their own copy of the lesson book. It costs less than $10. I do recommend they also get the supplementary books, but they are optional.

*Rythm - We will learn different types of notes.
*Reading Music - We start with basic music concepts off the staff and then move to reading notes on the staff.
*Posture/Technique - We will talk about how to sit, hand shape, etc.
