In this course, student will begin to learn basics to playing piano, such as reading music, counting, and playing.
Class experience
The students will learn through visual and auditory explanations. No experience with music is necessary to be in the course, it is made for students who are completely new to playing music and piano. The class is designed to be one on one so that the student can interact with the teacher clearly and is at the student's own pace. The student will learn to play piano, specifically how to read music, count rhythms, and listen.
I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy. I have been teaching group piano lessons and private piano lessons for all ages. I believe that music is essential to everyone's life and that it is never too late or too early to learn to play.
Homework Offered
The student should practice for a minimum of 30 minutes per week outside of class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Student must have access to a keyboard for lessons (acoustic piano or digital piano) and access to digital copy of piano method.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
