Homework
1 hour per week. The student should practice for a minimum of 30 minutes per week outside of class.Class Experience
The students will learn through visual and auditory explanations. No experience with music is necessary to be in the course, it is made for students who are completely new to playing music and piano. The class is designed to be one on one so that the student can interact with the teacher clearly and is at the student's own pace. The policy for missed/canceled classes is that if the student is unable to attend the class the teacher must be notified in advance at least 24 hours before the class. Makeup classes or refunds will only be guaranteed if the teacher is notified in advance. Makeup Classes may be given, but also depend on the availability of my schedule, therefore it is important to notify in advance. Classes are by request and are made to be continuous.
Learning Goals
The student will learn to play piano, specifically how to read music, count rhythms, and listen.
