NOTE: This is a flex class. There are NO live meetings for this class. The material will be posted weekly and participation will be done through Outschool & YouTube. You can view the material during the week at your own convenience. Also, we will not be covering how to setup a YouTube account. I will assume that everyone already has an account.

OVERVIEW:
This is a 4 week Flex course where students will be guided via detailed video lessons that I have pre-recorded. Students will have to participate in class by posting projects and thoughts on different activities we do by providing images or video clips which we can analyze and critique together as a group.

WEEKLY LESSON PLAN:
Week #1 - YouTube Shorts
Summary: This week students will learn why YouTube shorts can be a fun and useful tool to grow their channel and promote themselves as well as how to make them. 

Week #2 - YouTube Copyright & Free Resources
Summary: This week students will learn some important rules that YouTube has on Copyright and you will learn where to find free resources and how to use them in iMovie or DaVinci Resolve (both are free, you just need one).

Week #3 - YouTube Animated Graphics
Summary: This week students will learn how to create and use cool animations in their videos through the use of Canva and either iMovie or Davinci Resolve.

Week #4 - YouTube Studio & Analytics
Summary: This week students will learn how to read some extremely useful information that is provided by YouTube Analytics. Learning how to use this will help you improve your overall channel and content.
