課堂經歷
In these lessons the children will be learning about emotions. It is ok to get mad, angry, upset. How do we handle our emotions? Children need to learn how to handle their emotions. In these group times, we will work together and express how different situations make you feel. Once they can recognize their emotions what choice to we make and how do we express them. Goal: Teach children the importance of being aware of their emotions, and make appropriate choices to express them. Objective: Help children understand emotions and how to express them. Books: I Am (Not) Scared, You’re A Crab, I Like Myself Vocabulary: brave, moody, irritable, tame Materials needed: book (optional for students), paper and colored pencils or crayons. Schedule: introductions, introduce lesson for the day and schedule Talk about what emotions mean to each child, talk about challenges the children have had and how did they react. How could they react differently next time. Offer new tools for them to help express themselves in a more positve way. read book, discuss book, discuss different emotions and how each one makes you feel. Draw a picture of you feeling: sad, happy, excited, angry, playful

In this group we will talk about the emotions they feel, what cause different emotions and how to be express how we are feeling. Each sesson is focused on the specific emotions of each of the individual learners.
