We will discuss what propelled them to leave England. Students will learn what kind of ship the Mayflower was, how many people sailed on it, what the journey across the ocean was like. I hold a BA in History with minors in Women Studies and Humanities as well as an MA in History. My area of specialty is women's history and American (United States) history from the 1560s to 1960s. I strive to continue my education by taking continuing education courses in many topics pertaining to the settling of the United States.
