Come and join us as we walk through United States history! In this class we will take a look at the history of each state:

Who settled it? When and how did it join the Union? 
What important events happened there and who came from there? 
What battles and conflicts happened there? 
What is it most known for today?  
What state has a law where it is illegal to eat fried chicken with a fork? 
Where did spam come from? 
What state produces the most potatoes/sweet potatoes/gold? 
What is the only state to have it's state seal designed by a woman? 
We will be looking beyond the normal facts and figures and examine the culture - music, food, inventions, industry, etc. 


The order of the class is listed below. We will cover each state in the order that they joined the Union. 

            - Each week is an independent class. You pay for each week that you would like to join. You can pay for each week that you choose to attend class. There is no start or end date, so feel free to come and go as your schedule dictates.
             - As this is a weekly subscription class, there is no homework. Each class will consist of a powerpoint lecture that consists of pictures, videos, music, and lecture.
