In this class students will be able to practice their understanding of the different parts of speech; adjectives, adverbs, nouns, and verbs. Here's what the class will look like: *Welcome *Short Game: Rebus Puzzle *Brainstorm words for the story. We will use a list of example words to choose from and words we generate as a class. *Read the Mad Lib: We will read and react to the story as a class *Repeat (Optional): If time allows we will repeat with other Mad Lib stories. *Discussion: Which story was the funniest, dumbest, weirdest, craziest, etc. Every class uses a different Mad Lib story. Students can sign up for one or multiple classes. My teaching style is fun and engaging. Learners are treated with smiles, laughter and encouraging words.
