Let's Celebrate the vernal equinox, the first day of spring! In this course we will learn about the science of the vernal equinox and discover the many celebrations, traditions, ceremonies, and structures built to mark this special day from around the world. In this class children will be able to share their prior knowledge and we will discuss the different signs of springtime. We will then explore the science behind the equinox. Using a second camera I will model for children the Earths path...
Students will gain an understanding of science behind the vernal equinox and the many celebrations and traditions held to mark the first day of Spring.
Student will need paper, crayons, markers or colored pencils.
