THIS IS A SELF PACED CLASS- THERE ARE NO LIVE CLASS MEETINGS Join me for this self paced class for five colorfully delicious rainbow desserts made from scratch. I will walk you through step by step how to make a scrumptious treat for your whole family to enjoy. You'll learn how to improve your food preparation skills, along with better food safety. Every week you'll add a new delicious and colorful recipe to your food repertoire, and your confidence in the kitchen will grow! Students will be encouraged to post a picture of their desserts, and share what went well, any tips, any troubles they ran into, or any other comments. I ask students to comment on each other's photos to give encouragement, compliments, and/or suggestions!

We will be using the oven, stovetop, microwave, and knives during this course. Parental supervision is recommended. Recipes also include gluten and dairy.

I have a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in ESL. I have taught in classrooms from kindergarten through 5th grade, and I love making learning fun and engaging!
I'm a work-at-home mom of 3 cute kids and 1 energetic pup. I speak 2 foreign languages (Spanish & Portuguese) and have lived in 3 different countries (USA, China, & Cape Verde). I’m a big Harry Potter fan (go Hufflepuff!), and I have an odd knack for being able to remember random movie quotes. I’ve also wanted to be a teacher since I was very little, and I absolutely love teaching here on Outschool!
