What Thanksgiving dinner is complete without some tasty pie? In this one time cooking class, we’ll learn how to bake a delicious pie totally from scratch. We’ll start with the Oreo crust, then make a yummy Nutella chocolate filling, then whip up some whipped cream to put on top. This class is great for beginning bakers, or anyone who loves baking. Please make sure to check the supplies list and have all ingredients ready to go before class begins. We will be making the pie together during class time, and I’ll walk the students through each step of the way.

25 regular Oreo cookies 3 tablespoons white sugar 4 tablespoons unsalted butter- melted 1 package (8 ounces) full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature 1 and 1/2 cups Nutella 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt 6 ounces frozen whipped topping fully thawed 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 tablespoon powdered sugar 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/8 teaspoon (small pinch) fine sea salt SUPPLIES pie pan Mixing bowl Kitchen aid mixer with whisk attachment and paddle attachment OR mixing bowl with electric hand mixer Measuring cups Measuring spoons Food processor OR large ziploc bag and rolling pin Rubber spatula OPTIONAL (for chocolate shavings garnish) chocolate bar Potato peeler
