Homework
1-2 hours per week. This class has many assignments. I provide two work days to complete the work. This is a boot camp. Learners are expected to work through the material and keep on schedule. But feel free to reach out if your learner needs more time to complete work; I understand!
Grading
I provide written feedback and corrections on all submitted work. Grades are only assigned upon request.

I understand the importance of flexibility, which is why my boot camp offers a flexible schedule, allowing students to tailor their learning experience to their convenience.  No Live Zoom Meetings means you work where, when, and how you want by watching pre-recorded videos, completing digital assessments, and posting your work to our classroom. 

This elementary school grammar boot camp course is designed to help students understand the most common English language rules. It is suitable for US Grades 3, 4, and 5. My curriculum covers essential grammar concepts such as nouns, verbs, adverbs, sentence structure, simple paragraph writing, and reading comprehension. 

The course utilizes various instructional methods, including lectures, discussions, exercises, and writing assignments, to help students understand and apply grammar rules in their writing. Expect to work 40 min per subject each week. There are two built-in work days!

                 Write a descriptive paragraph: Using clear adjectives to describe an object                         
Reading: Non-Fiction Reading Comprehension Activity; Focus on descriptions in a Harry Potter Inspired Passage

Grammar: Adverbs more than ly words
Writing:  Use the Hamburger Writing Method
                Write a how-to paragraph: Let's put our writing in order!         
Reading: Fiction Reading Comprehension Activity; Sequencing a story

Grammar: Prepositions and Object of the Preposition

                Write a Narrative paragraph: Showcase your new and improved writing skills!

This class is appropriate for CEFR: B2, C1, C2.
