Beginner - Intermediate Level
This is an ongoing class and students can come and go as they need! This class is for fourth and fifth grade students to learn writing, reading, vocabulary, and grammar skills. Each week will have a specific focus related to fourth and fifth grade ELA standards that will engage students. This is an enrichment class, meant to enhance whatever other curriculum your learner is currently doing. My goal is to make learning FUN but also appropriately challenging. Students will be encouraged to participate, answer questions, and share their thinking in an encouraging atmosphere. Please let me know if your learner prefers not to be called upon. Some weeks will include graphic organizers, grade-appropriate texts, and other handouts that will be posted in the classroom.
